Famous for its unique and complex watches, the company Clerc has presented two new products at the international watchmaking exhibition GTE in 2012: diver's watch Hydroscaph Central Chronograph and Hydroscaph Steel GMT.
The Hydroscaph Steel GMT watch is an excellent chronograph with a complex case, which is used in the assembly of 96 components. In order to ensure a safe dive to a depth of 1000 meters, available for this watch, the case is supplied with a helium valve with automatic descent and lateral reinforcements.
The new watch is based on the manufacturing automatic mechanism C606. The watch case is made in several versions: polished steel, blackened steel or two-tone steel and 18K yellow gold. The octagonal shape of the case based on the square in combination with a perfect circle has a diameter of 49.6 mm wide. Ergonomic design of case is adapted to be worn on the wrist of all sizes. It can be worn even over a diving suit. Diving rotating bezel, made of steel or gold, makes the turns in aid of a movable ledge on the crown, which sliding on the previous position, one can fix it to avoid an accidental deregulation during the dive. The novelty comes on a black rubber strap.
The second novelty Hydroscaph Central Chronograph is also watch for divers, made in a typical grade futuristic style. Inside the watch case in diameter of 45 mm is embedded a manufactory automatic mechanism C608. The model is available in two versions: stainless steel with black coating DLC or pink gold.
The novelty comes on a crocodile strap with bright orange stitching or on a strap from rubber.
Hydroscaph Central Chronograph is released in a limited edition of 500 items made of steel and pink gold.
