New World Timer ALT1-WT by Bremont

The watch company Bremont has announced the release of a new model of a watch World Timer ALT1-WT, which will have its world premiere at the international watch exhibition Baselworld- 2012. The new model is designed on the base of the C-17 Globemaster, a special edition which is developed for the usage by crew members and pilots of military transport aircraft Boeing C-17 Globemaster 3.
To create a heavy-duty case, which will serve to the owner for many years, keeping perfect external form, the company has used stainless steel, hardened by a special technology Trip-Tick. The process of tempering steel reaches a hardness of 2000 VH. The hardness of stainless steel 316L, which is usually made for the watch case, is 300 VH. The case on the top is equipped with a sapphire crystal, which also serves as a transparent case back. On the sapphire glass is applied with the outer and inner side of 9 layers of anti-reflective coating to facilitate the reduction of reflecting the possibilities of glass for 95%. The rotating bezel is marked by the identification logos of the airports, listed by the International Civil Aviation Organization. The rotation of the bezel is provided by a special ball bearing mechanism, which turns it on for one minute by a single clicking on the button, set at the 8 o’clock position.
A silver dial is engraved with a globe. Time on the dial is indexed by the central hands of hour and minute. The indicator of a small second hand is at 9 o'clock position. Date aperture is located at 3 o'clock, and the second time zone is fixed with a special central hand.
Timing functions are displayed on a 30-minute display in the position of 12 o’clock, 12 hour indicator at 6 o'clock position and by means of the central seconds hand.
Inside the watch World Timer ALT1-WT is integrated a manufactory mechanism BE-54AE Automatic, which is officially certified by COSC as chronometer.
The novelty comes on a black leather strap with white stitching and steel buckle. The package includes additional NATO watch strap of nylon. The watch will be available for $ 5695.
