BALL presents a new Trainmaster Worldtime Chronograph Watch
The watch brand Ball presents a new Trainmaster Worldtime Chronograph (Ref. CM2052D-LJ-BK) watch, combining the two most popular complications: an indicator of world time and chronograph.
The Trainmaster Worldtime Chronograph (Ref. CM2052D-LJ-BK) watch is dressed in a round steel case with a diameter of 42 mm, 13.7 mm thickness, and water resistant up to 50 meters. The dial is available in two versions - black or white. On the hands and applied hour indices are installed by microtubules, filled with gaseous tritium. The second hand is put to a small dial at the "9 o'clock" o’clock. In a dual aperture at "3 o'clock" are indicators of the date and day of week (weekends are highlighted in red).
Indication of the global time is provided by a rotating 24 hour inner scale with a pointer of the day/ night (not just in black and white colors, but drawn red sun and a golden crescent moon). Names of towns are brought to the periphery of the dial and automatically rotate counter-clockwise, that after setting provides a continuous indication of all 24 time zones. That is, if the owner of the watch only once (when placing the exact time), adjust the scale of the other time zones indicator will not have to flounder, exposing the exact time of the city in which you fly - it will be displayed automatically.
The role of the chronograph is performed by central second’s hand, as well as a 30-minute counter at "12 o'clock" and the 12-hour at the "6 o'clock".
The dial is decorated with a globe image with meridians. The crown is screwed.
The case back is transparent and shows through the sapphire crystal an automatic mechanism Ball 352, based on ETA 7750 and shock-proof to 5000 Gs.
The Trainmaster Worldtime Chronograph (Ref. CM2052D-LJ-BK) watch is available on a black crocodile leather strap with steel buckle. The name of the watch is partly derived from the word "train" - in 1930, when the company Ball has just appeared, it was engaged in manufacture of clocks for railway stations, as well as handheld options for conductors. Since then, Ball pays tribute to its history, calling some of his line Engineer, Conductor, etc.
