Swatch Group Hotel is opened in Shanghai

The watch company Swatch Group has opened in the historical heart of Shanghai its own hotel. The building was renovated, and on the first floor there are designer shops of watches belonging to Swatch Group brands: Swatch, Blancpain, Breguet, Omega.

In contrast to the fairly low-key design boutiques of Omega and others, Swatch watches are presented in a futuristic interior – matched to the avant-garde spirit of the brand. In the store of Swatch watches there is a lot of free space dominated in whites, and the walls are decorated with giant prints. Swatch watches themselves are on display from white Corian, more reminiscent of the palette for brushes.

Art-surroundings of the Swatch store announces that potential customers are first of all people from the creative environment. However, this is just an illustration of the history and watchmaker Swatch, which is more than two decades, continues to work with contemporary artists. Pedro Almodovar, Keith Haring and other well-known talents have created a lot of prints and patterns to watch Swatch.
