In October, the Swatch watch company introduced new models in Venice, additions to the collection of Swatch & Art. Venice was chosen as this year, the watch company became a partner of the famous Venice Biennale. The Swatch & Art collection is available at the end of October.
The line Swatch & Art is created with participation of musicians, designers and artists. This time the new watch is created by the famous painter from France - Jean-Michel Otoniel - and the dance avant-garde group Campagnie 7273.
Jean-Michel is the author of two models: a watch Swatch Be Black and Swatch Over the Rainbow. They have transparent cases and watch straps, decorated with colorful beads. The dials are decorated with crystals. The model Over the Rainbow issued in limited edition of 777 numbered copies.
Dancers Nicolas and Laurence Yadi Cantillion created the design of the three watches Swatch-Romance-s, Swatch-Climax, and Swatch-Nil.
The watch Swatch-Romance-s is decorated with hands depicting dancing figures. This model is in limited edition to 777 copies.
The timepiece Swatch-Climax charms by the contrast of the textured black strap surface and black dial with a smooth and even case finishing.
Model Swatch-Nil presents a minimalistic wristwatch with sand-colored case and strap.
In addition to the new collection Swatch & Art was presented to the guests a special exhibition of the models Swatch & Art last year’s edition.
