Storm is one of the rare English watch companies. The brand was established in the end of the 80-s, the 20th century by the designer Steve Sun. This is not the ordinary watch brand which amazes people by its extravagance. The fantasy of the designers shocks by the quantity of the ideas. In the collection of the watches there are the models with the case inbuilt, for example the can opener, the capacity for pills, the flashlight or the magnifying glass. The models Adventure, New Enforser and Lumino are equipped with such additional devises. This is like the “watch theater”, the artistic way to present the idea of the Time. With such style of the watch design the watch company Storm got the image of the most unpredictable and paradoxical watch brand.
The movement is not important in the design of Storm watches. The watches are equipped with the Japanese Quartz movement Miyota, which is produced by the Citizen concern. In the collections of the company are presented the models with chronometers, calendars, tachymeter scales. The cases of the models are made of stainless steel and for the special gloss platinum metal is added. The straps are made of leather. In the watch creation are used the modern soft and strong materials such as kevlar and polycarbonate.
In Russia this brand is famous since 2000, but has already won the recognition among the true connoisseur of the watch art.
