 Prada, the well-known Italian company, was founded in 1913 in Milan by Mario Prada. The company surprised the whole world by its exquisite collection of clothes, shoes, handbags, cosmetics, as well as various accessories that have become very popular and famous, both in Europe and America. At the beginning, the company was named “Fratelli Prada”, in Italian it means "Prada Brothers." From the very beginning, the brand attracted the worldwide attention to its exclusive travel bags, made of exotic walrus leather. When Louise Prada, Mario's daughter, took over the helm of the company, the leather bags assumed a new character. The brand still remained very popular, however the bags, made of high quality materials and decorated with crystals, were rather heavy. Over time, the run on the Prada bags receded and the rate of profit also decreased. Miuccia Prada, Mario Prada's granddaughter, took the over the helm of the company and released the excellent products, that made Prada  one of the most famous fashion houses. The elegant clothes with a dominant black colour could not but become a success, because in those days black clothes were produced by very few brands. And Miu Miu company, founded by Miuccia, was distinguished by the collections of clothing, presented in soft, subtle colours. Later, the company began to produce men's clothing, underwear and sunglasses. So, Miuccia was awarded "Best Accessories" prize at the international designers competition in the United States of America.
Today, Prada is a concern, that includes six companies: Prada Donna, Prada Uomo, Miu Miu, Helmut Lang, Jil Sander, Granello. The company's products are manufactured by these brands, as well as Fendi and Byblos. In addition, the company has more than one hundred Prada stores all over the world. Each product by Prada is perfect, because the designers pay a great attention to every detail, even the smallest one. The elegant and stylish clothes and accessories by Prada create a unique image.
 All the company's products are exclusive, each item, including the small masterpiece such as a watch, is facinating and admirable, due to its noncomparable Italian design.
Plexi is the first watch collection by Prada. The exclusive watches with the square cases combine several colours. There are the bicolor (silver or gold) round dial in the center of the square case. The models are assebled on the basis of the Swiss movement, characterized by the high precision.
Prada watch collection includes chronographs and multifunctional models. One of the new products of the brand is the chronograph, that is powered by solar energy. The case is made of titanium, the black or dark brown strap is produced from the geniune vintage Saffiano leather. There are chronograph counters at “3:00”, “6:00” and “9:00”, the date aperture is located at “4:00”. The unique dial is skilfully encrusted with numerous solar batteries. To make the wrist watch work perfectly, the battery should just bask in the sun for some time once a month. The chronographs are released in the limited edition of 1,000 pieces, every watch has its own code, allowing to receive the exact time signals in the case of failure. You shouldn't wind the watch or set the time by hand; the watch does it instead of you. The smart model even takes into account the location of the owner and automatically adjusts the local time.
