Pierre Junod Watches

Pierre Junod is the Swiss watch company, founded by Pierre Junod, a talented designer and watchmaker. Pierre Junod watch collections are produced by the skilled designers, who have been working in the watchmaking industry for years, and by the young designers, who have just started their work in horology. Pierre Junod considers such a method to be right, because every person has his/her own individual taste and is able to bring a fresh spirit to the company's collections. The company does its best to produce the watches as close as possible to the designers’  ideas: colour, shape, size and concept. Each Pierre Junod watch is entirely made in Switzerland, in the company's own workshop in Bienne by the team of talented designers and watchmakers.
The brand collections are complemented by the original watches, developed by the different designers. For example, FBLBLACK 11 model was developed by the designer Fredi Brodmann, who was born in Vienna in 1956 and began his work with the establishment of his own design firm in New-York in 1987. The wrist watch, developed by him, has an unusual dial with the indexes (hour, a quarter of an hour and five minutes) in the form of the Arabic numerals and one hand. The round case is produced from 316L stainless steel, the black dial is protected by the sapphire crystal. The watch is fitted with the black leather strap. The Swiss quartz ETA movement is housed in the watch case.  FBLBLACK 11 watches are released in the limited edition of 250 items.
Pierre Junod watch company often collaborates with different Swiss watchmakers. As a result, the company releases new watch collections. As these watchmakers usually work in the small workshops, known as ateliers in French, the new watch collection was called Atelier. One of these models has received the name Evia due to 12 deep engravings on the watch glass, enhancing the colour of the luminescent hands. The talented craftsmen decorated the watch in the style of “Clou de Paris”. It is the decoration in the shape of tiny pyramids. The unique watches are characterized by the round stainless steel cases, the black dials, where there are the indexes in the form of silver or golden dots. These indexes perfectly harmonize with two hands of the same colours. The watches come with the leather straps. The Swiss quartz ETA movement is housed in the watch case.
The other model from Pierre Junod collection is Stardust, that has been developed by two designers - Arnout Visser and Simon Barteling. It is the unique model with the anodized aluminium case and the dial with two hands and indexes in the form of dots, treated with the luminescent coating. The watch comes with the rubber strap. The Swiss quartz ETA movement is housed in the watch case.

The exclusive Pierre Junod wrist watches are developed by the other designers: André Ricard, Michael Graves, Richard Meier, Steven Götz, Tobias Jacobsen, Mario Botta, Shigeru Uchida, Lella Vignelli, Massimo Vignelli, Sandrine Oppliger, Christian Geissbuhler.
