Perrelet Turbine is a sign of a good taste

For Perrelet Turbine watch making Perrelet was inspired by reactive turbine of a plane, which turns round because of incoming air. Charmed by such tool, Perrelet watch-makers created a double rotor having made it the main element of the collection.
Classic model Perrelet Turbine look very stylish. The model is made on the base of Perrelet Ñ-181. Moving of the external rotor has frequency rate 28 800vph. Power reserve is 42 hours. Double rotor was remade into a turbine which contain 12 titanium blades. Rotor occupies all watch disk and placed at a dial of a black color which hour marks are illuminated numerals. Illuminated numeration makes Perrelet Turbine more spectacular. Dial diameter is 44mm. Its concave shape imitate the primary view of a reactor.
Crown is dept into a case and can be pulled out only for manual rewind and time correction. As it may seem, such thing is made for brightening impressions. More over a special clasp is placed at the strap in order to not to loose watch when the buckle is unfastened.
The watch is supplied with double side sapphire crystal which protects watch from water penetration.
In the beginning of 2011 Perrelet Turbine were modified into Perrelet Turbine XL, the case of this watch became a bit bigger now it was not 44mm as in the previous model, but 50mm. Sides were not smooth as Perrelet Turbine had. Perrelet Turbine XL's sides became more aggressive, cutting into DLC coated steel welt.
Strap design has also changed. It is reinforced in the place of joints where it is fastened the watch case.
The variation of Perrelet Turbine XL were also released.
The first model was made of classic steel DLC coated, the second one (more reliable) was made of combination of titanium DLC coated. Also there were one more model released. It was made of steel and rose gold (it was limited edition, juat only 77 items).
There was also issued Tourbine XS watch model, diamond incrusted, created especially for beautiful ladies. Moreover an evident likeness with Turbine XL model was used for tourbillon image creation. Into the case of DLC coated and rose gold gilded stainless steel a tourbillon and a bit biased dial frame-mounted by six double pins are places. Pins add a very powerful look to the watch. The back lid made of transparent sapphire crystal through which it is possible to observe a very beautiful movement, its moving and frame bridges which are engraved with “Geneva waves” ornament. This watch model was issued in limited edition (20 items).
In october 2011 in Moscow there was a presentation of Perrelet Turbine Poker watch. Turbine XL watch model was taken as a base of it. One of thre card combinations is placed under the blades of a moving rotor: 1) three sevens, 2) two queen's fleshes and two sevens, and finally 3) full card batch. As a result of rotor movement it may seem that cards play hide-and-seek. Every time according to the content of previous combination tree new combination of cards come out. It is even possible to make a stake on. This kind of watch was issued in a quantity of 777 items.
At the same time a Moscow premiere of other two watches: Perrelet - Perrelet Turbine License to Play took place. These models were devoted to Bondiana esthetics: black DLC coating, gold dial – everything reminds James Bond movies captions.
In order to take pleasure in all the atmosphere of these watches, a little shake of the case of one of the models is need. After being shaken the dial starts to sparkle with all shades of gold, it even may seem that everything around is covered by golden dust. There are 777 items of such watches.
The third collection Perrelet Turbine America is made on the base of Turbine XL. It released especially for American trade. Watch reminds famous American Star-Spangled Banner. American flag watch model can be easily deconstructed. This watch model has straps (white and red) which constantly changing place. Fragments of a flag which have stars on it at the place of hour marks are constantly moving. Everything makes time watching a bit complex and more over it is not evident how many states there are in the US.

In the end of December 2011 Perrelet released one more watch collection based on a classic model Turbine - Perrelet Turbine Hentai Erotic Limited Edition. At the dial there placed Japanese erotic pictures in a Hentai style.
At immovable position an outside rotor covers the picture but if the watch is moving pictures are well observed.
There are eight variants of Hentai Erotic watch. Pictures are made in black, red and white colors. Every model is issued in limited edition, just only 88 items. These watches do tot have XL equivalent models. Hentai Erotic watch diameter is 44mm. It is made of titanium black DLC coated and water resistant. The strap is made of real rubber and the buckle is made of stainless steel. P-181 movement provides regular work.
A daring composition of old horology traditions and new creative ideas of Perrelet watch-makers makes a very “tasteful cocktail” of brightness and individuality.
Without any doubts, Perrelet will surprise everybody once again.
