Flawless and Technically Perrelet Tourbillon Automatic Watch

Swiss watch brand Perrelet has announced in 2012 the release of new watch model Perrelet Tourbillon Automatic. As it is evident from the title of the model, the watch is modified with an actual in contemporary watchmaking complication - a tourbillon, which is located in the cage at the 12 o’clock position. Silver tone of the tourbillon with color accents stands out the general black background of the dial. At 6 o'clock position is located an additional dial with applied wedge-shaped hour markers. On just the same additional dial, also in intensely black, is indexed the main time by means of the central hour and minute hands. The center of the dial is decorated with the Cotes de Geneve pattern, which creates a certain imbalance between it and the surrounding geometric shapes.
The novelty operates on the basis of the mechanism Caliber P-311, collected at 23 jewels. The automatic caliber is developed in the walls of the factory MHVJ, which is a subsidiary of Perrelet. The unique mechanism, equipped with an exclusive rotor of Perrelet, provides a 65-hour power reserve and performs 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The novelty Perrelet Tourbillon Automatic is the owner of a magnificent steel case in diameter of 50 mm and a thickness of 13.8 mm. The case is covered with DLC-coated black. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating is fixed to the case by a steel fixed bezel in black to match it. On the back side it is also posted a sapphire crystal, through which you can see the ceaseless motion of the rotor. The secured crown is on the traditional place - at the 3 o’clock position. The case is waterproof to 50 meters.
Perrelet Tourbillon Automatic model comes with a rubber strap, equipped by a steel buckle with the DLC coating.
