MSC Watches

Manfred SchneiderThe MSC (Manfred Schneider & Co) watch company was founded in Münsterland, a small region in the north of Germany. This city like Glashuette is one of the significant centres of the German watchmaking. Just here Manfred Schneider, a German watchmaker born in 1962 in Germany, created the MSC watch company. Schneider was keen on watches still in his childhood. His love for mechanical timepieces inspired him to make his own company manufacturing unique original watches combining high quality and durable movements. Still in 1991 Schneider repaired watches in his own flat. Then in 1993 he opened a workshop where continued repairing them. And in 1995 he decided to open his own small company, and only three years later his dream came true. As Schneider is one of the founders so the company has been given name “Manfred Schneider & Co”.
While most companies produced quartz watches, Schneider made mechanical ones. He wanted to produce not only high-quality watches meeting all requirements of the watch industry but also low-priced ones that could be bought at an affordable price.
In 1998 Schneider designed his first model named Montego launched in a limited edition of 50 pieces. This watch was equipped with the old movement Unitas 6497 remade by him.
Nowadays the German MSC company offers a rich collection of wristwatches. Every model has a serial number and a signature of Schneider himself who is now considered to be one of the best watchmakers in the whole Germany.
The first watch collection was designed in Portuguese style. At once its models set their place at the watch market and were a great success. The master began to expand range of collections launching manual winding mechanical watches and also self winding ones.
