The idea of creating this watch company occured to the group of enterprising watchmakers from the Russian city of Vladivostok. In Russian the name of the company “Halbard Rioga" means "halberd." This is an ancient weapon, symbolizing the courage and strength. These are two qualities necessary for the survival in severe climatic conditions of the Far East. The company is headquartered in the capital of Great Britain, London.
The company produces unique watches in very limited editions. For the watch assembly, the watchmakers use high-tech ceramics, the composition of which is five times stronger than the composiion of steel, sapphire crystal with a treatment, protecting it from the external damage, and shark skin, that has a high density and water-resistance. The basic model of Halbard Rioga brand is Egoist men's watch, made in a minimalist style. The square watch case with soft and smooth lines is made of strong zirconia –   ceramic alloy. A light screwed crown is made of titanium and is decorated with zirconium. The black dial with steel indexes, luminescent hands and numerals is covered with a sapphire crystal. The model is equipped with an automatic ETA 2824-2 movement. The model has second, minute and hour indicators and date aperture. A black strap with white stitching is made of genuine shark skin, finished with hypoallergenic peach kernel oil, and is equipped with a stainless steel buckle. The water resistance of the watch is up to 100 meters (10 bar). The model is sold in a wooden box with a manual and an identity smart card. An approximate prize of the wrist watch is $ 395.
Deaths-head Hawk of Moth watch is the second model of the company, produced on the basis of Swiss automatic ETA 2824-2 movement. The name of the model originated from the the name of the Death's-head Hawkmoth, that can be found in the eastern regions of Russia. The moth is depicted on the watch dial as bridge in the form of 18 karat gold skull. The black dial is partially skeletonized. The hands and arabic numerals are covered with luminescent substance and indixes are made of polished steel. The watch case is made of the zirconia-ceramic alloy. The crown is decorated with zirconium. The wrist watch has second, minute and hour indicators and date aperture. A black strap, decorated with white stitching is made of genuine shark skin and finished with hypoallergenic peach kernel oil. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (10 bar). The model is sold in a luxurious wooden case with an identity smart card and a manual. An approximate prize of the wrist watch is $ 525.
