Grönefeld Watches

The family name Grönefeld has long history. In ancient small town of Oldenzaal, located in the Netherlands, in 1912 in a small shop where the old church could see the city, began his career as a watchmaker Johann Gronefeld. Then the brothers Bart and Tim continued on, who chose at the time of their grandfather. Workshop is now in the same building where  worked Gronefeld Johan, who created the family business of watches, which never ceased production of watches. The brothers were in Switzerland and in a relatively short period of time managed to show his skills in the production of such complications as the tourbillon, minute repeater. Bart and Tim worked for 8 years in the watch house Renaud & Papi, where Bart was a manager and was responsible for the process of manufacturing hours, and Tim - was responsible for the control of the clock and installation of Tourbillon. In 1998 they returned to the Netherlands and started their own service watches. In 2008, the brothers presented the first watches of «GTM-06 Tourbillon Minute», which worked over four years. In 2011 the company introduced its new Grönefeld model One Hertz Dune. In 2010, the brand released the One Hertz in 1912 limited-edition-12 pieces.
