The description of the “ND 01s” movement from Delaloye Genève company.
 The Swiss Delaloye Genève watch company is famous not only for its inimitable models, produced of high quality materials. One of the company's creator, watchmaker Nicolas Delaloye's invention is the manufacture ND 01s caliber movement. Namely this movement is the heart of Delaloye Genève brand's unique and exclusive models. The elaboration and production of an own movement took 2 years. The movement with manual rewind has the diameter of 28 mm and the width of not more, than 4,4 mm. Its frequency is 18000 oscillations per hour, the power reserve is 72 hours. The ND 01s movement is assembled on 22 sardiuses and decorated with leaves and different traceries. Each sardius is fixed to the movement by 3 screws. The scroll, the gearing wheels and other parts of the movement are polished and hand-engraved. The decorative components are fixed to the movement by big steel screws. All the movement consists of decorated details, made of steel and finished and polished to mirror-like shine. The movement has a serial number, coinciding with the number, engraved on a specific model's case. |
