 The thought of creating the Azimuth “SP-1 Mecanique” watch originated while observing our planet from outer space. The source of inspiration for the Swiss company's designers was the starry arch. That's why the timepiece's dial is “spread” with stars – the symbols of eternity, “watching” the world's instability from the spanless distances of outer cosmic space.
The company's designers abstract away from the original dials' elaboration, accenting your attention on principally new shapes and constructions. Azimuth company's designers embodied their unusual notions of the contemporary watchmaking art in the SP-1 Mecanique model. Azimuth SP-1 Mecanique watch has a rather original time indication way. The main dial counts minutes and the hour and seconds hands are taken out to subdials.
The steel 45-mm diameter case is equipped with the Unitas 6497 movement with hand rewinding and is decorated with a “Cotes de Geneve” tracery and burnished steel screws. The model's case is harmoniously supplemented with an integrated rubber strap. The model's water resistance is up to 30 metres. The watch is produced in limited edition of just 45 pieces.
