In creation of unique model Silicium/ref.670-85/ firstly presented on worldwide exhibition in Basel 2008, used silicon which is used not just for high accurate components of watch movement, and also as material for decoration. Model Sonata Silicium is equipped with new descent – duplex course of straight acting, all components of which are made on the base of silicon. Molecules of silicon synthesize in fotomanufactured nuclear reactor. If not looking at that in creating of the case with diameter 42 mm used white gold, it can be called the first watch from silicon. From stone like material are made balance spiral, descent wheel and anchor. The dial is carved from natural silicon plate and kept fondling a view soft natural colors. Rotor is also made from silicon and decorated with engraving the logo of the company. Transparent sapphire crystal let watch the work of the rotor. Model is based on the mechanical movement caliber Un 66 with self-winding. Amplitude of the vibration of movement is 28 800 vhp. Swiss association in development of watch production ASRH did researches in area of development the newest movements, and it was made anchor movement used in this model. Consisting base of the movement became technical parameters of wristwatches Sonata Cathedral Dual Time, which include alarm function, indicator of power reserve about 42 hours and second time zone. System of second time zone have ability of quick time correction. This ability is special of many models from Ulysse Nardin. With presing the buttons + or - changes the position of watch hand and fixing needed time zone. Local time shows on the dial and at the same time fixing power reserve and alarm. Innovative movement of alarm with cathedral gong is equipped with indicator of reverse. Dial is protected with sapphire crystal. Water resistance of the model is up to 50 meters. Elegant strap is made from natural leather of alligator and equipped with folding clasp. Model is produced in limited edition with 500 pieces.
