Casio Introduces CMK-100 Mechanical Field Watches with Titanium Cases

Casio announced the CMK-100 mechanical field-watch series at the end of October 2026, introducing five versions built around a 38 mm titanium case and a Japanese-made automatic movement. The CMK-100TD-1A, with a black dial and solid titanium bracelet, is joined by nylon- and leather-strap versions in black, grey and brown. The collection expands Casio's mechanical offering while retaining a layout derived from traditional instrument watches.
A titanium field watch in five versions
The CMK-100 takes its dimensions from a relatively compact case rather than the oversized format associated with some outdoor watches. Casio specifies 44.7 mm from lug to lug, 38 mm across and 11.4 mm thick. The titanium-bracelet CMK-100TD-1A weighs 98 g, including its bracelet. Both the case and bezel have hairline-brushed surfaces, and ion plating or titanium-carbide treatment is applied to selected exterior parts, depending on the model.
A black dial carries large Arabic numerals, a date window and three conventional hands. Raised, luminous numerals are printed in multiple layers, while the finely textured dial surface reduces reflections. The watch has a sapphire crystal, screw-lock crown and screw-lock case back. Casio rates its water resistance at 100 metres.
The five announced references distinguish dial and strap combinations:
- CMK-100TD-1A — black dial with solid titanium bracelet.
- CMK-100TC-1A — black dial with nylon strap.
- CMK-100TCC-8A — grey dial with nylon strap.
- CMK-100TL-1A — black dial with leather strap.
- CMK-100TCL-5A — brown dial with leather strap.
Japanese automatic movement and 42-hour reserve
Inside is a Japanese-made mechanical movement with automatic winding and the option of winding by hand. Casio specifies 21 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour and approximately 42 hours of power reserve when sufficiently wound. The seconds hand can be stopped for setting. The company also lists magnetic resistance and a mean daily rate of -20 to +40 seconds, a manufacturer specification rather than a chronometer certification.
The display is conventional: hours, minutes, central seconds and date. Casio has not named the calibre or its supplier. The bracelet version weighs 98 g, while the strap versions weigh around 54 to 55 g.
Materials and the wider Casio range
The nylon choices bring the familiar woven-strap construction associated with field watches. The leather editions use vegetable-tanned material sourced from Tuscany. All five share the same basic case shape and three-hand display, allowing the series to vary its appearance without changing the instrument-style dial.
In the United States, the series is scheduled to go on sale in November 2026. Listed prices start at $330 for the CMK-100TC-1A on a nylon strap; the CMK-100TCC-8A and CMK-100TL-1A are $350, the CMK-100TCL-5A is $375 and the titanium-bracelet CMK-100TD-1A is $440.
