German watch brand Archimede presents its new Pilot 42 Bronze watch, done in the classic style of the pilot's.
A case, as the name implies, is made of bronze (an alloy that consists of 92% copper and 8% tin). Bronze surface oxidation forms a natural patina of copper oxide, which protects the base metal from corrosion and seawater. Bronze is also a non-magnetic metal, has a high melting point of about 1000 ° C, 10% harder than steel.
