Novelty by Rado - D-Star Plasma Watch

Swiss company Rado has introduced in 2012 a new watch model D-Star Plasma. The novelty is a watch from the plasma-coated ceramics, resembled the stainless steel.
The watchcase, waterproof to 100 meters, has a diameter of 40.8 mm and a height of 11.4 mm. Weight of the watch along with the bracelet is 144 g. On the top, an anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal equips the case. Exterior case includes different elements: it can be colored in metallic gray or glossy polish.
The crown, located at the traditional 3 o'clock position, is screwed into the case and perfectly protected from external damage. Transparent backside provides an excellent overview of the Swiss movement ETA 2824-2.

The classic model is a winner of the wonderful dial, decorated with ornaments in the form of sunlight. Dial markings is made by applied hour indices. Direct thin hands of hours, minutes and seconds index time. Date is built into a square aperture, set at the 6 o'clock position, and parallel to it at the position of 12 o'clock is the company’s logo.
New D-Star Plasma watch is supplied on a titanium bracelet with a matte finish and a buckle decorated with monogrammed Rado.
