| From the Earth to the Moon is not first variation of watchmakers of house Van Cleef & Arpels on the theme of romance of popular writer Julies Verne, who became famous with his fantastic romances. This is a real one of the most unusual models of wristwatches with cosmic theme. On black background is painted cosmic space, presents the small picture opened to astronaut flying in the side of the Moon. For symbolic painting of Jupiter, Earth and its natural satellite masters used incrustation. Celestial body are made from agate, nephritis and even from pieces of real meteorite. The base of From the Earth to the Moon is a special retrograde module, developed special for company Van Cleef & Arpels. This movement called JLC Caliber 846 has hand winding. Thanks to it From the Earth to the Moon has indication of hours – on the left side of the dial are situated 12-hours scale and hand-retrograde in the form of star. Opposite is 60-minutes scale is situated for minute indication. This time as a hand is miniature space rocket. This is unique space landscape is fixed in case of round form from white gold 750 with sapphire crystal. Back case of wristwatch repeats the theme of interstellar flight – here is situated engraved painting of space rocket, which presents increased painting of minute hand-retrograde. The unique specialty of the model From the Earth to the Moon is in the painting doesn't limited by dial. Part of contingents of the Earth and Jupiter appeared out, increasing the perspective and making design more unusual. Original case is complimented with strap of alligator, color of which was selected in tone of the dial.
