Such scene captured on the dial of watches 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea from jewelery house Van Cleef & Arpels. These wristwatches is one from new four models from collection Midnight «Les 4 Voyages Extraordinaires» (“Unusual traveling”), on creation of which designers of manufacture inspired French writer science fiction writer Jules Verne. Model 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea has round case from white gold with diameter of 40 mm and black leather strap. Painting of sea bottom on the dial is made with usage of enamel technique called “paillonne”. The base for ornament is the thinnest plate from silver or gold. On it master lays several layers of transparent enamel. Thanks to usage such complicated technique the painting gets unusual volume and deepness, and base from precious metal provides effect of inner shining of the painting. In the whole were produced 22 pieces of watches 20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea, and dial each of it made by hands master-emalier Dominique Baron. In this wristwatch is used automatic movement 800P from Piaget. In the middle of the dial of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea are situated hour and minute hands.
