Baselworld: preparing for the most important event of the year!
In preparation for the exhibition Baselworld, the materials for the construction of pavilions are imported from all over Europe. Tens of thousands tons of steel, wood, plastic, glass, cables and other materials are delivered strictly on a clear timetable. All trucks are traveling on a predetermined route, since the delay of one of them may lead to a delay in the construction of the pavilion Baselworld.
Showrooms are a real city. About 20,000 workers, including construction workers, electricians, engineers, architects, painters, carpenters, installers, decorators, engineers, IT specialists and chauffeurs, will participate in the construction work for 6 weeks prior to the event. Design of pavilions extend beyond the exhibition halls, as they are high-rise buildings with elevators, toilets, kitchens, offices and the like.
