BaselWorld-2014: Aqua Expedition by Deep Blue

At the international exhibition Baselworld-2014, the American watch company Deep Blue will present a new model Aqua Expedition, made in the classic style of diving.

The model is presented in a round case made of stainless steel. Waterproof up to 1000 meters, the case has a diameter of 45 mm, the thickness is 16 mm. At the 3 o`clock position is placed the protected fluted crown with the engraved on the top Deep Blue logo. In parallel, at the 9 o`clock position is a helium valve. Arabic numerals and marks with a blue luminescent material SuperLumiNova are plotted on a rotating unidirectional diver bezel. The face of the case is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Blue, black or white dial is equipped with applied hour indices and central luminescent hands, by which is indexed by time. The digital indicator of the date is embedded into a circular aperture between 4 and 5 o`clock positions.

The novelty is based on the Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW- 200, 26 jewels. The mechanism has a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a power reserve of 38 hours.
The watch comes on a steel bracelet with a folding buckle.
