Independent Swiss brand Dwiss (Design Watch Independet Switzerland) has announced the launch of a new model Classique CBMM / Niobium Ref. NB4101, the world premiere of which will take place at the international exhibition Baselworld- 2014.
The novelty, possessing the world`s first case of niobium (Nb1Zr), released in close collaboration with the Brazilian mining and metals company CBMM (Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração), which is the biggest earner and producer of niobium. Niobium is the superconducting metal, used particularly in the aerospace and petrochemical industries.

The round case of the novelty, made of niobium, has a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of 10.5 mm. Water-resistant - 100 meters. At the 3 o`clock position is placed the fluted screwed crown, protected by protrusions on the case. The solid back cover is screwed into the case, protected from the right side by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The anthracite dial with radiant finish is equipped with applied faceted hour markers and faceted oblong hands. Central hands of hours, minutes and seconds carry out time indication. The digital date indicator is incorporated into the aperture at the 6 o`clock position.

The Classique CBMM / Niobium watch is based on the Swiss automatic mechanism ETA 2824-2, on the 25 jewels. The mechanism has a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch comes on a crocodile strap with a folding stainless steel buckle.
