''Raketa'' is launching ''Atom'' Timepiece

"Raketa" is launching a new watch model "Atom". Unusual matching of the famous 60's design, colors, 80's and modern forms, create that special color, characteristic for true Russian watches.
The model is created based on the mechanism of the legendary "Raketa-2609 NA."

"Raketa" traditionally creates timepieces for the military, including the country's nuclear fleet. This fact is reflected in the unusual division of the dial into three equal parts, which echoes the symbolic representation of the atomic particles.
Stunning as a nuclear explosion, the design of new models will not leave anyone indifferent.

In 1721 Peter I founded the oldest company in Russia, Petrodvorets Watch Factory “Raketa”. Since 1961, the factory produces watches "Raketa", named after the first flight into space by Yuri Gagarin. In 2009, the company entered into a stage of reorganization, under the leadership of artistic director Graf Jacques von Polje.

Nowadays the watches by the company "Raketa" are presented in such famous boutiques like Colette in France, Central Department Store (Mercury), Podium in Moscow, Status and Babochka in St. Petersburg and many others.

Since the end of 2012, one of the former directors of the Rolex, Jean-Claude Kene, headed the production.

Today Petrodvorets Watch Factory is located in a historic building.
This is one of the world's rare factories, which produce its own watch movements from A to Z, including spiral and balance.
The factory gradually upgraded, buying Swiss equipment, and soon plans to get Swiss quality certificates Chronofiable and C.O.S.C.

In 2013, the factory has launched its new mechanism "Auto Launch" and a new model of a timepiece based on the Natalia Vodianova’s design.
