This year, the watch company 88 Rue du Rhône is an official partner of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts BAFTA-2013. The 66th awards ceremony for achievements in cinematography was held on 10 February at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, in London. 88 Rue du Rhône took an active part in the ceremony. Especially for this event, Geneva maker has released a limited series of 50 watches that were presented during the weekend nominees BAFTA. Some models in this series got the winner in social networks, and the lucky ones in the audience.
The special edition watch features the original engraved logo of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts on the back cover. The men’s models are presented in 42 mm rose gold case, women’s - 35 mm steel case with 11 diamond hour markers and silver Arabic numeral 8. Men's watches are offered on soft leather in dark tobacco color, and women – on shining black calf leather with a waterproof lining.
