Linde Werdelin presents a novelty - Oktopus II Rose Gold

The watch company Linde Werdelin, known with development of high-quality mechanical watches and instruments for diving and mountain activities, has introduced a new timepiece Oktopus II Rose Gold. The novelty, created in 18-carat gold and titanium, is not only perfectly smooth to the touch, but also has high strength, so necessary when are active.

The Oktopus II Rose Gold watch, equipped with device Reef for a dive to depths, is presented in a case with absolute water resistance and excellent corrosion protection. The case is provided with a moving chamber, located in the center, and its four components, fixed by 16 screws, 8-th of which is fixed a bezel with chamber, and 8 are located on the back cover. The four components of the case structure at the indexes 3, 6, 9 and 12 are separate from the moving chamber and used to fasten the strap and tool for scuba diving. To create such a case the brand’s watchmakers are inspired by the pressurized hyperbaric chamber construction used for modeling and testing instruments and watches. At the 3 o'clock position on the case is set down a crown with an octopus image at the end. Octopus also adorns the back cover of Oktopus II Rose Gold.

The watch dial consists of two layers. The upper part of the dial cut through the stencil and is equipped with the company's logo Linde Werdelin, Arabic numbers 3, 6 and 9 with luminescent coating and large apertures, forming an image of the octopus. The lower part of the dial is decorated with a pattern Cote de Genève, creates the effect of water ripples. Two laser-cut apertures at time index 11 and 1 show date.
