New Oktopus II Moon Watch by Linde Werdelin

The famous watch brand Linde Werdelin presents a new watch Oktopus II Moon, fitted with a Moon phase indicator. The new model is released in two versions - Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Moon Black and Linde Werdelin Oktopus II Moon Gold. Novelties – the new generation of the Oktopus Moonphase watch, which Linde Werdelin’s masters developed in 2010.
Both versions Oktopus II Moon are in limited edition - 59 items. 12 items are presented in a case of the rose gold with the titanium bezel in DLC coating, and 47 items – titanium case with DLC coating and the ceramic bezel. Both models’ cases are equipped with special titanium cylinders that protect a mechanism against moisture and shock.

The novelties’ Moon phase indicator is presented as graphic images of different phases of the moon on the dial. Images are covered with fluorescent material so you can see them even in the dark. Moon, shown on the watch dial Oktopus II Moon, makes a complete revolution in 29.5 days. This is not the most accurate indicator of the existing, but certainly one of the most beautiful. Images of the moon at the bottom of the dial, give an original look to the watches. The open part at the 1, 2 o’clock position is used to more accurately track the phase.
Dials of the novelties Oktopus II Moon have large Arabic numerals 12, 3 and 9 and hands to indicate the hours, minutes and seconds, which are covered with luminescent coating.
To buy the Oktopus II Moon Black and Oktopus II Moon Gold watches by Linde Werdelin will be possible at a price of 12,500 Swiss francs and 27,000 francs (with a gold case). The models will be officially presented at the annual exhibition in Geneva in January 2013.
