Model by Raketa after the war with Napoleon

Petrodvorets watch factory Raketa is the oldest manufactory in Russia. Known before the Revolution as the Peterhof Lapidary Factory, it a truly heroic manifested itself in the war with Napoleon. From 1812 to 1814, the factory supplied the front with variety of hardware necessities. It was produced large quantities of surgical instruments needed to save people, sent to the front epee and saber blades, knives, scissors, razors, nail files, etc.

The second’s hand in red, which is harmoniously combined with a second’s indexes, looks very original. Indication of hours and minutes is carried out by means of the two central silver hands.
