Steinhart Company Introduces New Le Mans GT Automatic Watch

The famous car race 24 Heures du Mans is held annually near the eponymous French town of Le Mans – in the focus of the watch company Steinhart. Note that the first 24-hour check-famous race held on May 26, 1923.

In honor of the sporting event, the watchmakers Steinhart has created a Le Mans GT Automatic watch.
The new "racing" watch in its appearance is made based on the details of sporty cars. The massive bezel reminds you a steering wheel of the racing car, the dial design causes the association with wheel drive, and the second hand is made as a speedometer needle.
The case diameter in 46 mm and a thickness of 14.5 mm is made of brushed and polished stainless steel. The dial is made of carbon fiber on the method of the so-called "sandwich".

Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, via the central red hand, date aperture at the 6 o’clock position. Hour and minute hands, as well as the inscription on the bezel are highlighted in blue by using the fluorescent coating.
The basis of the watch is a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement.
The watch is also complemented by a black rubber strap with a stainless steel buckle with engraved logo of the brand, reminiscent of tread rubber on the backside.
