New Automatic Watches by Alfex at BaselWorld 2012

This year, the Swiss company Alfex at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has introduced a series of elegant watches AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. As the name implies, the model, presented in the collection, compiled on the basis of an automatic mechanism cal. 1-11.
The caliber is designed and assembled in the brand’s workshop, located in the southern of Switzerland. Mechanisms by Alfex are collected and decorated by hand. Bridges and a main plate of the caliber 1.11 are decorated with the "Côtes de Genève" pattern. The work of the beautifully decorated mechanism can be observed through the transparent back side of the watches.
Calibre with a 46-hour power reserve and shockproof Incabloc system is based on 26 jewels.

The mechanism is equipped with an indication of the hours, minutes, seconds (by using central hands) and date (the aperture is set at the 3 o’clock position).
Fine central hands and oblong hour markers, located along the contour of the round case, give to the dial a rigorous, classic look and are an excellent demonstration of the minimalism philosophy.
The watches are available in several versions. Cases of all the models are made of stainless steel, and supplied on leather straps or metal bracelets.
