BaselWorld 2012: Concord Presents New Smoked Red C2 and C2 Pink Cold Chronographs

The watch company Concord has presented at the annual international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 two exciting new chronograph C2, which differ very special stylish design, sleek form, sophisticated construction and modern movement, typical for a number of C2chronographs.
Harmonious and subtle mix of broken and smooth lines is the main feature of the exterior design of the submitted watches.
It should be noted the inner ring of the watch, highlighted by famous protective overhangs of Concord, which occupy the rim and serve as temporary indexes. Chronograph counters are located at the 6 and 9 o’clock position, the 3 o’clock position is a little extra second’s counter. Date aperture is located at the 6 o’clock position.
Excellent depth and richness of dial’s execution the brand’s masters get by means of a special sandblasting and polishing with a round brush.
Both models are presented with a case in diameter of 43 mm, made of polished matt black stainless steel with PVD-coating, using sandblasting finishing.
One of the models is presented with a black dial and bright red accents and red hands, which are processed with rhodium coating and covered by a smoky sapphire crystal, perfectly combined by a black alligator bracelet with red stitching and a black folding clasp in stainless steel with PVD coating.
The second model is decorated with hands and accents in pink gold on the dial and bezel, giving the watch sophistication and warmth. The watch is equipped with a black bracelet made of genuine alligator leather with pink stitching.
The style of the both presented both - an emphasis industrial. The case back is made in the form of safe door; the watch water resistant is 100 meters. Chronograph C2 Smoked Red (Ref: 0320187)
The chronograph operates on the basis of mechanical self-winding ETA caliber 2894-2, on the basis of 37 jewels, with a frequency balance of 28,800 vibrations per hour and the power reserve of 42 hours. Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, date aperture at the 6 o’clock position.
The watch case in diameter of 43 mm and a height of 12.75 mm is made of black stainless steel with PVD coating. The dial is covered by a sapphire crystal in the thickness of 2 mm with anti-reflective coating. The vertical Cotes de Geneve pattern and engraving of company logo in the center is treated with rhodium.
The crown - screwed, of stainless steel black PVD coated, and engraved with the logo "C". The buttons are made of black stainless steel with black PVD coating and red accents. The back side on the 6 screws is provided with engraved logo "C" and the inscription “Audace-Savoir-Faire Avant-Garde”.
The dial of the model deserves a special attention. Its main feature is multi-layered. The black markers, semi-temporal indices are underlined with red marks.
Dauphine hour and minute hands are made with asymmetrical grooves of the rhodium and with Superluminova. Small second’s hand with red tip is mounted on a constantly rotating disk.
The watch strap is made of genuine alligator leather with red stitching and equipped with Concord folding clasp from black stainless steel with PVD coating.

The watch operates on the basis of a mechanical self-winding ETA caliber 2894-2, on the basis of 37 jewels, with a frequency balance of 28.800 vibrations per hour. Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, date aperture at the 6 o’clock position.
The watch case is made of stainless steel with PVD coating and finishing in pink gold (total gold weight - 7.84 g). The case dimensions in diameter - 43 mm, height - 12.75 mm. The dial is covered by a sapphire crystal with thickness of 2 mm with anti-reflective coating.
The black crown is made of stainless steel PVD coated and engraved with logo «C». On the case there are four buttons, which are also made of stainless steel with PVD coating.
The back side is on the 6 screws provided with engraved logo - "C" and the inscriptions “Audace-Savoir-Faire Avant-Garde” and "C2". The watch water-resistant is up to 100 meters.
The watch dial is made with a vertical Cotes de Geneve pattern and the company's name engraved in the center. Hands and time indices are made of SuperLuminova coating. The small second’s hand is with the tip from red gold and constantly rotating disk.
The watch strap is black, made of genuine alligator leather, with pink gold stitching. The strap is equipped with a folding clasp in stainless steel with black PVD coating.
