The watch company Cuervo y Sobrinos has presented at the annual international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 a new watch Robusto Day-Date «Churchill» (Ref: 2819.1IC). The unique model, as noted by the company, is dedicated to Winston Churchill - a big fan of Cuervo y Sobrinos products, and as the story goes, a permanent client of company’s boutique in Havana.
The original watch Robusto Day-Date «Churchill» represent a unique and individual approach to the life style that was popular in Havana of 40-50s. That time the store of Cuervo y Sobrinos in Havana was one of the characters of his time. The celebrities and legends of his time came here: an American writer and Nobel Prize winner Ernest Hemingway, the famous physicist, Alfred Einstein, Italian actress Eleonora Duse, a Chilean poet and diplomat Pablo Neruda, as well as British Prime Minister - Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill, to who is devoted the presented at the exhibition BaselWorld 2012 watch model.

The Robusto Day-Date «Churchill» watch is made on the basis of the ETA 2834-2 automatic movement with a diameter of 29.00 mm and a thickness of 5.50 mm, based on 25 jewels. Power reserve is 38 hours. Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date and day of the week.
A modular watch case in diameter of 43 mm and the total thickness of 12.45 mm is made of stainless steel and titanium. The dial is covered by a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The crown has a unique system: it is - a kind of "key", fully integrated into the case, instead of the traditional winding crown.
The watch dial - ivory, decorated with original pattern «craquele», applied brand’s logo, and hands with Superluminova. The watch strap is made of genuine Cayman crocodile leather and equipped with a folding clasp in stainless steel.
