New Version of Watch Mechanism Technotime TT651

TT651 mechanism for wristwatches has been manufactured by Technotime since 2003. Last year, this creation was appreciated in the international competition of one of the best wrist watch - the third place. Today Technotime presents the personalization of the second time zone indicator and date display format for the TT651.

At the "12 o'clock" position on the new mechanism are set two disks to display the big date. The novelty of their design is to increase the size, allowing a better indication of the selected date. Position "6 o’clock" is the second time zone indicator, which is under the hands (on the same axis) is 10 mm disk of day time. Depending on the requirements of the model, the size of the disk can be reduced, as it may be partially obscured, or completely left in sight. Personalization also includes indicator design options: a picture with the sun and the crescent moon on the background light and the night sky, respectively, or simply disk can be painted in a yellow day and night black colors, or with the gradation from white to black, and signed by the time of day (morning, noon , evening, midnight).

By the way for the second time zone in the new version of the TT651 mechanism can be used with the display of the disc, instead of hands. In this embodiment, the color of the time of day will be displayed through the slot in the disk.

In fact, despite all the delights of the personalization Technotime, automatic TT651 is nothing but a modification of the base ETA 2892. That, however, did not alter the fact that this is a wonderful, mighty caliber. Setting up a second time zone in the modified mechanism is without influence on the main display of the time.

This year at the Basel exhibition, Technotimewill introduce three models of watches with various indicators of personalization of the day of the week and second time zone (just the three options listed above: with colors, images, stars, the color gradations). Platinum and bridges of the movement are beautifully decorated.
