The German company Damasko this year has introduced a new watch model with laconic name DA44. The novelty is set up in compliance with the basic principles of the German watchmaking - innovative technology, modern design and new materials.
The case of a new model with antimagnetic protection to 80,000 A / m is made of steel without nickel, matte shot peening. To achieve the hardness (60 HRC, 710 HV) after quenching the metal was processed by cold. Special attention is worthy the bezel made of hardened steel with a PVD-coated, rotating in both directions, with the exact minute fixation. White markings on the bezel are available in two versions - 12-hours or 60 minutes.
The black dial with contrasting hour markers, a graded by the scale of minutes is protected with an anti-glare and anti-reflective double-sided AR-coated sapphire crystal.
The watch dial has a simple display system: the central hands indicate hours, minutes, seconds, date aperture and a pointer of the day of the week are placed at the 3 o’clock position. On the lateral surface of the case in the same position is a crown, screwed-down into the case, creating a monolithic construction of a sealed, waterproof to a depth of 100 meters.
The watch is collected on the basis of the Swiss high-quality mechanism ETA 2836-2 with automatic winding and a 40-hour power reserve. The caliber, based on 25 jewels, runs at a frequency of 28 800 pc / h. The mechanism is gilt, resistant to DIN 8308, has an anti-magnetic protection DIN 8309.
The watch comes on a black leather strap with red stitching and water-repellent.
The price of the novelty is $ 1490. There is also a version with a PVD-coated, which costs $ 1590.
The new Damasko watch, as well as all watch production of the company, has been tested on all military standards and is certified for the usage in the Air Force of Germany.
