Salon International of Haute Horlogerie SIHH 2012 has opened its doors
Today for the elite of watch industry has opened its doors the international salon of Haute Horlogerie SIHH 2012. The 22-th exhibition is attended by 18 major watch brands: A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, JeanRichard, Girard Perregaux, Greubel Forsey, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Ralph Lauren, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels. All the brands comprise into the holding company of the luxury goods, Richemont. Masterpieces of watchmaking art are exhibited in the showroom area of 30 thousand square meters.
At the exhibition the watchmaking connoisseurs will be able to see the perfect creation of the largest watch companies, which paid tribute to the legacy of the past. A characteristic feature of the event is a refined atmosphere of professionalism and preservation of traditional values in watch world to every detail.
Each year the exhibition is held in Palexpo, which is a ten minute drive from the center of Geneva.
SIHH - a closed event, which is attended by 12,500 guests (retailers, journalists and representatives of Manufactures). The exhibition will end on January 20, by providing the global community with new trends in the watch market.
