Heritage Watch Manufactory and its new Viator watch on GTE 2012
The watch company Heritage Watch Manufactory specializes in producing high-precision mechanical watches. To ensure maximum accuracy and durability of its products, the company uses only its own production caliber.
In 2012, at the international watch exhibition GTE the Heritage Watch Manufactory company has unveiled its new watch Viator, which embodies the best traditions of Haute Horlogerie. Along with the famous lines of Tensus, Magnus and Centenus, the new watch also consists of the luxurious design and versatility.
The novelty is developed by a brand’s master watchmaker brand Karsten Fraessdorf. The watch has a unique display system of GMT. The round watch case is made of stainless steel which is partially polished and satin. The case diameter is 42.5 mm and the thickness is 13 mm. The watch water-resistant is up to 50 meters. On the top of the case is a domed sapphire crystal, and on the back side is set a flat sapphire crystal.
The massive dial, made of white enamel, is equipped with curly skeletonized hands and large black Arabic numerals. Time is indexed on the dial by means of the central hour and minute hands. An indicator of the small second hand is set on the lateral dial at the 6 o’clock position. Second time zone function is presented like a "jumping hour", located in a circular aperture at 12 o’clock position.
Inside the watch case of Viator is built a new manufactory mechanism HWM 840, collected on the 40 jewels. The diameter of the caliber is 38.30 mm, its thickness is 6.10 mm-. To ensure high-accuracy and high reliability of the mechanism, the company uses the Swiss descent, Breguet hairspring, patented balance Vivax with diameter of 16 mm. To adjust the shutter in the caliber is placed a special mechanism Sectator. The carrying frequency is 18 000 vph, and the power reserve - 50 hours.
The novelty comes on a dark brown leather strap, which equipped with a steel buckle. The Viator watch is available in 40000 Swiss francs.
