The American Watch Company Olivier, located near Los Angeles, in the town of Redondo Beach, has announced the release of new diver’s watch Bronze Diver.
Notable in the new watch is the case of marine bronze CuSn8, possessing an amazing feature - it changes its color under the influence of all, to what it touches. On the bronze color affects everything: sweat, water, light, air, heat, etc. Bronze with characteristic muted yellow shade during the time is covered with a patina. Thus, the case of bronze takes a unique kind of dependence on external conditions and personal use.
The case of the novelty in diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of 15.5 mm provides a water resistance to 500 meters. The solid screw-down crown, located at the 3 hour, is made of stainless steel. The crown’s diameter is 8 mm and its height is 4 mm. The crown on top is decorated with a diver image. At 9 o’clock position is set an automatic helium valve. Unidirectional rotating bezel, made of bronze, is graded by diving markings. The bezel is made in two versions: with a black coating and without it. The owner of the watches can easily replace them depending on his mood. On the watch stainless steel case back is encrusted a wreck and a diver.
The case on the top is equipped with a 4 mm thick inner antiglare sapphire crystal. Hour indexes and the central hands on the black dial are covered with fluorescent compound Superluminova. The date aperture is set aside the space between the 4 and 5 o'clock.
The novelty is based on the Swiss mechanism ETA 2824-2, built on the 25 jewels and providing a 40-hour power reserve.
