Jaquet Droz presents Petite Heure Minute Dragon Majestic Beijing Limited Edition

The watch company Jaquet Droz has announced a new limited edition line of Petite Heure Minute Dragon Majestic Beijing. For over three centuries, the company Jaquet Droz was interested in China, and as a tribute to the centuries-old traditions of China and its culture on the eve of New Year and Year of the Dragon by the Chinese calendar the company has released the Petite Heure Minute Dragon Majestic Beijing with the imperial dragons on the dial.
Long creatures with a pair of horns, ten claws and four teeth in China represent a higher spiritual power. In the throat of these fantastic creatures is hidden a pearl, which contains the wisdom of the emperor and the righteousness of his decisions.
The case of the novelty in 18-karat gold has a diameter of 43 mm. On both sides the case is equipped with a sapphire crystal. The case provides water resistance to 30 meters
The off-center ivory enamel dial is made using the technique «grand feu enamel». The dial is studded with two Chinese imperial dragons. Time is indexed on the dial by means of the central hour and minute hands. At the periphery the dial is marked by minute scale and equipped with Roman numerals.
The novelty is based on the manufacturing mechanism JD 2653 with self-winding. The caliber on the 28 jewels has a 68-hour power reserve and a balance frequency of28,800 vph. The rotor of the mechanism is made of 22-carat white gold.
The strap of the model is made of brown alligator leather with a gold clasp. The novelty is issued in a limited edition of 88 items.
