A Wristwatch Decimal by the watch brand Rainer Nienaber
A German watch brand Rainer Nienaber in autumn of 2011 announced the release of a new watch Decimal with the indexation of the decimal time. During the French Revolution in 1793 by decree of the Convention was introduced decimal time. In accordance with the law, the day began to divide into 10 decimal hours to 100 decimal minutes from midnight to midnight, and the minute was divided into 100 decimal seconds.
The novelty has a round stainless steel case of 43 mm.
The black dial is in sharp contrast with white Arabic numerals. On the inside of a circular dial scale, is marked from 1 to 10, the time fixed by the central skeletonised yellow hand. On the outside, round scale of the dial, which is graded from 10 to 100, the time is indexed by the skeletonised yellow central minute hand. At 6:00 position is the second indicator, labeled from 10 to 100, where the time is fixed by the red second hand.
New watch comes on a strap of black leather with red stitching, equipped with stainless steel buckle.
The model is available at a price of 2,500 euros.
