In September 2011 a German watch brand Dievas presented a new diver watch Focal.
The three-leveled round case is made of 316L stainless steel. The steel case is processed by the special technology 6STEEL, which is a patented innovation in the company Dievas. The technology concludes the process of the case multiple heating in the atmosphere of carbon gases mixture, which leads to the diffusion of atoms into the metal. As a result of this reaction on the case a layer creates which thickness is 30 microns. This layer has a hardness of 1300 Hv in Vickers scale overloading 6 times the hardness of stainless steel. Then, to increase the resistance to corrosion of the metal by means of vacuum the plasma coating is applied on the case.
The case has a diameter of 45 mm and thickness of 14.5 mm. The watch water-resistant is up to 500 meters. The crown for the strength is screwed into the case on the position of 3 hour. The helium valve is installed on the case in position of 10 hour.
The unidirectional rotating bezel with saw-toothed edges is in contrast with the black dial. The dial is modified by the indices and hands coated with white luminescent coating. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The model was designed by Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic self-winding mechanism. The rotor is decorated with a serial number and covered with black DLC-coated. The ultrathin movement can serve as a chronometer.
The model is available on a black rubber with a stainless steel buckle.
You can buy the watch for $1280 USD.
