The founder of American watch company KPM Watch Company Keaton Myrick, was born and grew up in Oregon state. Since childhood he was attracted by complicated watch movement, and his future profession was determined. He got skills and mastery of watchmaking in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania state, which is rich with watch traditions. Few years he worked in the company MKII Watch company before getting diploma of watchmaker gave him invaluable experience in this sphere. In 2007 Keaton Myrick graduated watch technical school of watchmaking in Lititz, getting certificate WOSTEP and AWCI, and also LWT diploma.
The next step of his watchmaker career was work in the service center of American office Rolex company. But his creative impulse to creation in the soul of Keaton Myrick prevailed and he decided to open his own company in his native Oregon.
Keaton Myrick produces unique wristwatches, assembled by hands. His model 001 is made by himself without machining. Case of the model with diameter of 42 mm is made from high durable alloy of nickel, copper and zinc and equipped with sapphire crystal. Bridges in the movement are covered with layer of ruthenium, having as platinum and palladium catalytic property. In assembly of the movement he used precious stones. Beige dial is guilloched in style of Geneve Stripes. The strap of the model is made from natural leather and stitched by hand with contrast tacks. Model 001 is a prototype and it is impossible to buy Keaton Myrick watch now. In the final variant the dial will be decorated by the logo of the company and on the back case there will be engraved individual serial number.
With the production of watches the company KPM Watch Company also repairs and restores antique clocks. |
