The American Deep Blue watch company, known as a brand, producing watches for professional divers, offers its new “Depthmaster 3000” model. Deep Blue brand pays great attention not only to high quality materials, but also to their watches' water resistance in their models production. Because not every brand can be proud of its water resistant models. The notion “water resistant watch” means, that it's protected from moisture, in other words, the special sealings protect the watch and its details from water penetration inside it. As a rule, water resistant watches are to withstand rain exposure and water splashing in all directions. However, a fully waterproof watch doesn't exist, even provided that the watch is made for divers. All the complexity of water resistant watches creation depends on many factors, playing a significant role in their water-tightness: the case production precision, shape and construction, environment temperature changes, etc. You shouldn't forget, that water-tightness is not a property, that the watch should constantly have during its assembly, as water-tightness determination can be valid only for the moment of the test. The external conditions can influence the watch's water-tightness state and result in changes. The water resistant watches' case backs have engravings, showing their water-tightness and water resistance during the tests. It's notable, that Deep Blue is one of the brands with models, tested for water resistance in correspondence with the ISO 6425 standard. There are 2 ways of watches water resistance tests: the first one is the ISO 2281 test for everyday wear watches and the second one is the ISO 6425 for scuba diving models. The Depthmaster 3000 watch from Deep Blue got the status of a professional diver watch after passing the test for withholding the water pressure of 300 ATM with the result of 25%. Such a result is rarely acquired even by most famous Swiss watch brands.
The Depthmaster 3000 model's 49-mm case is made of 316L stainless steel. The model is supplied with a mono-directionally rotating bezel, also made of stainless steel. There are multiple colour variants of the model: with black, blue, orange, yellow and green dials. The design of hour marks is distinctive, as some of them are marked with red on their edges. The unusual hands are also notable for their design: the hour and the minute hands are big in comparison with the seconds hand. Moreover, the minute hand is painted red on its edges. The date aperture is situated at the “3” position and the company's logo takes its special place at the “12” position. The dial is protected with a dome-shaped scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. There's a helium valve, providing pressure drop compensation inside the watch during deep water dives, at the “10” position. The watch's case back, made of stainless steel, has an engraved Deep Blue company's logo. The model is supplemented by a steel bracelet with a fold-out buckle. The model's water resistance reaches 3000 metres deep. The Depthmaster 3000 model, as most of Deep Blue brand's models, is equipped with the Japanese automatic Miyota 9015 movement. The movement is assembled on 24 jewels, its frequency is 28800 half-oscillations per hour, the power reserve is 42 hours.
