BaselWorld 2014: Starfleet Machine by MB & F

The watchmaker MB & F at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2014 has introduced a desktop clock Starfleet Machine, made in the form of a spaceship. The original desktop clock is collected based on the caliber, developed by the company L'Epée 1839, which created the clocks to design the passenger liner "Concord".

The hours and minutes are displayed on the central black dome by bent hands. The second`s hands are in the form of two trunks laser turret. Laser guns first are placed parallel to each other, and then cross each other and quickly remove in different directions, measuring out the 20-second interval.

Behind the central dome is set the rotating dome with the rotating radar for monitoring the reserve: five divisions mean full winding, one division - 8 days.

The Starfleet Machine watch is fitted with vertical chassis on which it can stand when it should be turned over to the main spring winding and set the time.

The desktop clock Starfleet Machine is released in a limited edition of 175 items.
