The Swatch Group Ltd and ADVA Optical Networking SE have announced the acquisition of all shares Oscilloquartz Ltd. of Neuchatel, Switzerland.
The company Oscilloquartz, founded in 1949, is a manufacturer of crystal oscillators (OCXO), GPS, GLONASS receivers and cesium oscillators for telecommunications applications. The company manufactures purged for network synchronization, such as, PDH, SDH, SONET and mobile telecommunication networks, e.g., GSM, X-CDMA, TETRA, 2.xG, 3G, 4G, UMTS, WiMAX.
It should be noted that the company`s headquarters Oscilloquartz located in Neuchâtel, and the brand itself has approximately 70 employees.
