Japanese watch brand Seiko, being the official timekeeper for the World Cup in Athletics in 2013, which conducts the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) in Moscow, has introduced a special limited edition IAAF Commemorative Edition (Ref. SSA143K1).
The model dial characterizes with the inscription "THE CHOICE OF THE IAAF SINCE 1985", and on the sapphire crystal of the case back is affixed the emblem of the championship.
The model has a round stainless steel case with black PVD-coated. Waterproof to 100 meters, the case has a diameter of 44 mm. At the 3 o'clock position is located the fluted screw-down crown, protected by the tabs on the case. On the top of the case and on its screwed back cover is placed a sapphire crystal.

Seiko IAAF Commemorative Edition (Ref. SSA143K1)

The matte black dial features applied hour markers, hour and minute hands with white luminous material. The date is inserted into the aperture at the 9 o'clock position.
The model operates on the base of the manufacturing automatic caliber Seiko 4R38. Collected by 24 jewels, the caliber provides a balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and 41-hour power reserve. Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date.
Issued in a limited quantity of 500 items, the IAAF Commemorative Edition watch is equipped by a black rubber strap with grooved surface.
