Swiss watchmaker A. Manzoni & Fils launches a novelty Canopus Weekplanner with the help of crowdfunding (collective cooperation of people who voluntarily pool their money and other resources together, usually via the Internet, to support the efforts of other people or organizations).
No one could have guessed that one of the founders of the company Ikepod, Oliver Ike, ever dares to take such a step. Ike created a brand Ikepod in collaboration with Australian designer Marc Newson. They have developed watches selected by such celebrities as Brad Pitt, Bill Gates, Robin Williams, Elton John and many others.

A new project has been developed in conjunction with the famous Finnish designer Ilkka Suppanen and is called the Canopus Weekplanner. This model, embodied in an automatic watch, offers the owner, in addition to the unique design, calendar and moon phase display. The watch can be supplemented by a metal strap or hand-sewn leather strap.
The original model will be manufactured in a factory A. Manzoni & Fils, which is located in the Swiss city of Lugano.
The Canopus Weekplanner watch’s creators intend to submit it to an international exhibition BaselWorld 2014.
