Stauer has released models with dials from coins

The American company Stauer presents a new watch collection in collaboration with brands GovMint and The New York Mint. The models from the new collection are different with their original design. Coins are used in the models as dials. A variety of coins in silver or gold colors serve as a dial, on which are placed two or three hands, by means of which is carried out the indication of hours, minutes and seconds.

Quartz movements equip the unique watches by Stauer. The coins Walking Liberty (half a dollar) and Morgan Silver (dollar) have become the popular models in this collection.
