The company Thomas Mercer was known in the watch market since 1858. It is engaged in manufacturing of marine chronometers, and was revived in 2012. At Salon QP the company has introduced the original watches which are developed together with a designer Andrew Vinci. Andrew does not only design watches, but also yachts. Created together with designer the yacht watch Classis weighs 35 kg and is equipped with an 8-hour power reserve.

The case of the unique watch is made of steel, has a gold coating in thickness of 5 micrometers. The case diameter is 423 mm, the diameter of the upper ring - 296 mm, height - 387 mm. To wind up the watch, is used a key hidden in a special box. Column base of lacquered ebony is also decorated with 24 rhombic inserts of ebony.

Classis dial is made of brass, and hands - blue steel. Power reserve indicator and small second’s hand are at the 12 o’clock position.
The yacht watch is equipped with a mechanism TM0801 in diameter of 160 mm and 100 mm height.
