Watchmaker Julien Coudray 1518 has announced a new model Competentia 1515 Tourbillon. A specific feature of the new item is a unique mechanism, made entirely of gold or platinum.
Manufactory caliber JC 1528 15'' in diameter is made of 18K gold (2N yellow gold - 37 g; 5N pink gold, Pd 125 white gold - 35 g) or solid platinum Pt 950 (52 g). The mechanism is completely hand-decorated, and on the reverse side engraved with ornaments in the style of Jardin à la Française. The caliber with manual winding, assembled by 60 jewels, has a 55-hour power reserve and the carrying frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations. Power reserve indicator is also made of gold. On the backside of the mechanism is established an indicator of the day / night, visible through the sapphire crystal. The escapement is equipped with a gold balance. Functions: hours, minutes, 4-year service indicator, power reserve indicator and day / night indicator.
Competentia 1515 Tourbillon
To create a round case with a diameter of 43 mm and a thickness of 9.82 mm are used 18K gold or platinum 950. On both sides, the case is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire. The watch water-resistant is up to 50 meters.
The refined dial, consisting of 11 components, is made of gold, enameled and decorated with ornaments in the style of plique-à-jour. This pattern was not chosen by chance; because it lets you see all the nuances of fine handmade. Tourbillon carriage is mounted on the dial at 6 o'clock position.
The new Competentia 1515 Tourbillon is delivered on a strap made of genuine alligator leather with ardillon buckle, made of gold or platinum and decorated with an icon.
Model Competentia 1515 Tourbillon is released in a limited edition of 15 instances.
